Kokoda
School Trek (example)
Our school treks start in March and the last trek leaves in
October 2009.
We will provide all your trekking requirements including tents,
cooking utensils, food, first aid kit and 2 way radio. You will
need to supply back pack, sleeping bag, sleeping mat and water
container (this can all be hired by your local outdoor shop).
We will be in constant contact with the head guide from Port
Moresby and can provide great care in any emergency or client
evacuation. Safety is of the utmost importance and reasonable
level of fitness and doctors certificate is required.
You will have excellent guides and porters that have travelled
Kokoda many times and will also include a special visit to Bomana
War Cemetery and a local village for an overnight stay.
Our treks also provide accommodation in Port Moresby before
and after the tour, with pick up from the airport so you will
always be well looked after while in Port Moresby.
We have a DVD of this experience to give you an excellent understanding
of what will be involved in your trek. It was shown on Channel
9 on ANZAC Day so ask us for a copy today. Day
